Valley Creel Park

The first city hall was constructed in 1977, and the police department was established in 1979. The city’s population grew to 327 by the 1990 census, and its first public park, Fred W. Adams Park, was dedicated in the town. In addition to the City Hall, the community has a fire station and maintenance building, and holds community events like parades and art shows. In addition, the City is home to a police department. In 1977, the Texas Water Development Board funded the construction of a wastewater system and entered into an interlocal agreement with the city of Austin for firefighting services. Today, the Sunset Valley Police Department is composed of six officers and three deputy sheriffs.
